Trivia Murder Party 3 Early Access Patch Notes

We're here! Thank you to everyone who had played early versions of Trivia Murder Party 3 (whether as an Alpha Playtester, or during Steam Next Fest) and gave us feedback, reported bugs, or just had some fun. We're excited that the game is finally out in the world in Early Access, and are eager to continue to release updates with much more to come!

Available Now:

• The full Trivia Murder Party 3 experience!
  • Challenge yourself with fun trivia questions, and try to stay alive through minigames expertly crafted by [REDACTED].
• 11 Unique Killing Floors
  • A mix of new minigames, and a remix of some past Trivia Murder Party favorites!
  • Includes: Archery, Canoes, Chalices, Chainsaw, Counting, Math, Mind Meld, Password, Pits, Pouring & Trunks
• 4 New Plot Twists
  • Experience the usual flow of Trivia Murder Party... with a twist! Plot Twists are gameplay modifiers that put a spin on the usual gameplay of Trivia Murder Party.
  • Includes: Subjective Questions, Jumpscare, Flashlight Trivia, & Finger Vote.
• 3 Unique Death Blows
  • Explosion, Electrocution, Hammer
• Online Cross-Platform Gameplay
  • Play sessions online with your friends, or matchmake with strangers!
• Local Couch Play
  • Play Trivia Murder Party 3 the same way you've always played Jackbox Games.
• Avatar Customization + Reward Items up to level 20
  • New to Trivia Murder Party: Cosmetics and Emotes to make your gameplay much more personal.

Some Known issues we're already tracking:

• Game Lobby - Controller views sometimes show one less player than the accurate in-game client count.
• Matchmaking - If you join a friend's private room from your own client, and your friend begins to matchmake afterwards, there is a chance that your game may be disconnected once you begin to join a matchmade game.
• Matchmaking - The game can sometimes show the "Forming Party of X" text multiple times before a match is made.
• Post- Game Stats - If no controllers are logged into a Jackbox Account during a session, the post-game stats roll up can sometimes not show up on the controller.
• Gamepad Functionality - Minor usability issues in settings menu.
• Password (Killing Floor) - Some valid 5-letter words can potentially not work.
• Lots of small visual and performance issues, we're in Early Access!
