Here Are All 5 Games in The Jackbox Party Pack 12

October approaches! In case you missed it, we announced all five games in The Jackbox Party Pack 12. From stream-of-consciousness friendship matching to a face-morphing photo party, this Pack has something for every kind of group. The Jackbox Party Pack 12 is coming to major digital platforms on October 15th. You can add it to your wishlist on Steam here!

Read on to learn more about each game gracing this pack.

MegaPals

How well does your brain’s first impulses sync up with others?

MegaPals is a word-association game about finding your people. Each round kicks off with a prompt, think “What’s a thing you always put off?” or “Happy _____ Day!”, and everyone races the clock to type out as many responses as they can. Match with someone else in the room and your friendship score climbs. Round two turns your group’s answers into fuel for the group’s next prompt, letting the players’ favorite submissions kick off a brainstorm chain reaction. By the final round, you’re matching on hunches about your fellow players. The two players with the most in common are crowned the new Kings of Friendship.

Idol Factions

Speed, teamwork, and a little bit of yelling...

Idol Factions is Jackbox’s newest team trivia showdown. Each round drops both teams into a board with three unrelated categories, for example, “Is it a Beatles song, a Romantic Comedy, or a TV Dating Show?”, and the words start flying. Players sort them into the right bucket, shuttle them across the board to teammates who can help, or send them through portals straight to the other team. Every correct sort grows your team’s stone avatar, but keep an eye out for bombs: you’ll only have seconds to lob them into a portal and throw the other team into chaos. Rounds speed up as you go, so the pressure (and the laughs) only builds.

We Forgot a Card

For anyone who’s ever shopped in the greeting card aisle in a panic.

We Forgot a Card turns that last-minute scramble into a game. Pick a category (holiday, congratulatory, or something delightfully bizarre), then choose a card design and write a message to match (or one that goes gleefully off-script, inspired by what other players wrote). Cards face off in head-to-head matchups, and your player avatar becomes your signature, “signing” the entries you think deserve the win. The final round raises the stakes with a gift to match your card. Pick a plushie and write the message that plays when someone pulls its voice-box string. Plushies get their own vote, and the player with the most points at the end takes it all.

Hyperface

Our first ever photo-editing party game is here!

Hyperface hands you a suite of warping, smudging, and makeup tools and turns your own selfies (or stock photos, if you’re camera-shy) into comedy gold. Each round comes with a prompt, like “Your face when the bidet water is set to an extreme temperature,” and it’s up to you to edit your image into the funniest possible response. Submissions go head-to-head for votes, and the final round gives you a choice: rework one of your earlier masterpieces or start fresh with a brand-new face.

Debate and Switch

Hot takes on the silliest scenarios imaginable.

Debate and Switch puts you at a town hall built for nonsense. Submit a goofy opinion, like “All menus need photos of the food on them,” and face off arguing for or against it while the crowd physically runs to whichever side of the room they’re backing. Just when you’ve found your footing, the game lets players swap a single word in the debate topic, so “We need more spiders!” can suddenly become “We need hotter spiders!”, and you’ll have to think on your feet to put your argument alive. Not debating? You can still stir the pot by lobbing comments into word bubbles for the debaters to use as ammo or ignore at their peril.

The Jackbox Party Pack 12 is coming to PC and Mac (Steam and Epic Games store), Playstation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, Xbox One & Series X|S, Apple TV, iPad and the Mac App Store. The game will launch on October 15th, 2026.
