Best New Games of 2026
After years of waiting, the most anticipated game of the year is finally here. It seems like everyone can’t stop talking about this long-awaited sequel.
I’m speaking, of course, about Fakin’ It XL, which is the newest game in Jackbox’s Fakin’ It series. It’s obvious that this game will be the most played game of the year, but maybe you’re looking for other games that will be released in 2026 that you’d like to try. Here’s our list, starting of course with…
Fakin’ It XL
Fakin’ It XL is an all-new stand-alone version of the favorite game, Fakin’ It. In this hilarious social deduction party game, players bluff, interrogate friends, and try to uncover the hidden Faker trying to blend in. This party game is perfect for game nights, in-person gatherings, and streaming. Building on the quality-of-life improvements from Fakin’ It All Night Long, this entirely new game delivers a fresh experience without the adult prompts. With new content and features like remote play, it brings the best of what players loved into a new experience of its own.
I personally feel sorry for any other games that come out in November, because Fakin’ It XL will easily eclipse them. Fakin’ It XL is one of the best new games of 2026 and it’s available now!
The Jackbox Party Pack 12
The Jackbox Party Pack 12 delivers five unforgettable party games that are fun for every group. It’s the perfect game to play with friends and family during the holidays. Plus, it won’t take hours to install like those massive open world games. Who even has the time to wander around in those?!
Write ridiculous greeting cards in We Forgot a Card. Warp faces for hilarious outcomes in Hyperface. Learn which friends you’re most in sync with in MegaPals. Test your trivia and fact-sorting knowledge with Idol Factions. And debate wild and outrageous topics in Debate & Switch.
The Jackbox Party Pack 12 just released in October. Hear what the critics are saying!
Trivia Murder Party 3
Trivia Murder Party 3 is the latest installment in the horror-comedy trivia series. You and your fellow players are trapped in a scary summer camp run by the trivia-obsessed serial killer, [REDACTED]. This game is filled with trivia, minigames, and sabotage where you can play with friends locally or online. It’s available now in Early Access, so your feedback and comments can help shape the game.
You can purchase Trivia Murder Party 3, Fakin’ It XL, and Party Pack 12 separately, or you can get all of the best games of 2026 at once with The Jackbox Backpack Bundle for only $46.95.
Fibbage: The Board Game
Looking to go analogue? The hit bluffing game, Fibbage is now available as a physical board game! Players come up with plausible lies to fool their friends while trying to guess the actual truth to trivia prompts. The physical board game of Fibbage brings tabletop connection with face-to-face bluffing.
The Fibbage board game is available at Target, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble for $19.99.
