MegaPals is all about following your stream of consciousness and finding how aligned your mind can get with your fellow players. In the first round, you’ll be given a prompt like, “What’s a thing you always put off?", or “Happy ___ Day!” All players will have 45 seconds to write as many words as they can think of in response to that prompt. As you play, you’ll be able to see who put in similar answers to yours, and your friendships will be ranked based on most unique matches!

The second round also starts with a game prompt. After matches are shown, players award “likes” to their favorites amongst all the unmatched words. The top voted submission becomes the next prompt to respond to, and players will get several chances for their words to kick off the group’s brainstorm. This chain reaction is run by the folks you play with, see how far you take it!

In the final round, you’ll get prompts about your fellow players, like “What's something that would make this player jump out of their seat?” This time you’ll be rewarded for matching, as well as for your hunches about other’s preferences. If you’re named in the prompt, you can boost specific friendships by selecting your favorites from words you see as they roll in.

Players get points for matching with other players and the two players with the most matches in common by the end of the game are deemed the new Kings of Friendship!
